TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions have been set out to provide guidance and ease of ordering through Daisy Belle. I reserve the right to alter or change these conditions at any time, but will honour any copies in which I have provided the customer with, in the first instance. Please read carefully. Thank you.

1. Ordering Bespoke Silk & Preserved flowers:
All of my work is bespoke and will be made to order to your requirements.

Please contact me first to obtain a quote, this will be emailed to you and in some circumstances a paper copy will also be sent.
On receiving any quote, the customer is under no obligation to continue with the sale. Quotes will be valid for one month, after which if the customer has taken no action it will be deemed that it is not your wish to continue with the ordering process.

I only work with silk (artificial) and preserved materials, fresh flowers are not available through mail order.

2. The Quote:
As the customer you are expected to check the quote thoroughly and it will be assumed that this has been done if a sale proceeds. I will have a copy of the quote as well for my records.
Your quote is valid for a period of one month from the date of issue. I reserve the right to alter prices quoted if contact from a customer to proceed with a sale has been made after the one month period. This is for me to remain in line with my supplier’s price changes.
Quotes issued which have had a booking fee or the full balance paid within the one month period will honour the prices stated in all circumstances.

3. Payments:
A booking fee of £30 will be payable to secure the date. This is non refundable under any circumstances and non transferable to other items other than those stated on the quote. This covers my administration and time in the event of cancellation.

All flowers will be sent one month before the date of your wedding or a date you have supplied as to your own requirements. The full balance will be payable two months before the date of your wedding. A reminder will be issued should the balance date arrive with no contact from the customer. In the event the balance is not paid after 7 working days after the date the balance is due, the order will be cancelled and the booking fee redeemed against my costs.

All dates will be confirmed on receipt of payment.

If you require your flowers sooner than the date of your wedding for whatever reason, then simply provide me with this date and the same rules will apply.

Priority orders will be assessed on individual circumstances. An order is deemed a ‘priority order’ if the date the items are required is sooner than two months from the date of enquiry. In this instance I reserve the right to refuse any order should I be fully booked an unable to complete the designs. For all priority orders I am able to take on, the full balance must be paid by the customer on ordering, for any order totals.

4. Delivery:
Delivery will be one month before the date of your wedding/event for all large orders with a value of £30 or more excluding postage and package charges. For smaller orders which are below £30 in value excluding postage and package charges, please allow 4-6 weeks for construction and delivery after making a payment in full (see above) All items with a value of £30 or less will be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery. Items over £30 will be sent Special Delivery (guaranteed next working day before 1pm). I am happy to provide you with a tracking number for both methods of postage. A signature will be required on delivery. In the event there is no person to sign and take responsibility for the delivery Royal Mail will issue non delivery advice with full instructions as to where your goods can be obtained. I can take no responsibly for events which are Royal Mails procedures. Please inform us of your delivery address on receiving your quote. Postage and packing charges will be outlined in the quote and will be subject to the size of the order. These charges are non negotiable and are purely to cover the costs rather than to make any additional profits. I reserve the right to use a different delivery method at any time i.e.: a courier service, however the same insurance and dates will be honoured as agreed.

6. Returns:
Please note that all items made specifically to order are not subject to the 7-day ‘cooling off’ period, which applies to the sale of goods via the internet. Therefore these items are Non-Refundable and Non-Returnable, with the exception of damages. Your statutory rights will not be affected. All damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. The goods must be back in my possession and be in the original packaging/condition before any refund/replacement can be made. It is extremely important that the original packaging is sent back with any returned goods which have been damaged in transit. Any packaging which has been damaged in such manner rendering it unsuitable to return the goods in, must be wrapped in further packaging in order for me to obtain it. This is due to the procedures of Royal Mail when claims against them are in process.
A full refund or a replacement will be offered. If you have paid through PayPal, please note that I can only refund the cost of the goods plus postage, I cannot refund any charges made by PayPal during any transaction.
In the event of a replacement, we will attend to this as a matter of extreme priority. Replacements will be restored or remade to the original design. Any alterations required to be made by the customer to replacement goods, will incur further charges.
Please make sure you take care in protecting/insuring the item you are returning. It is your responsibility to get the goods back to us, and therefore we can only offer refund/replacements on goods within our possession.

7. How to pay:
Payments can be made by the following methods:
  • Bank Transfer - Details on request
  • Personal Cheque – Please allow 7 days for clearance; see below for more details.
  • PayPal/Nochex*: Payments to payments@daisybelle.co.uk

*Please note that you can make a payment of up to £100 via Nochex without needing to open an account with them (over £100 will require an account). PayPal payments require you to have an account before making any payment. It is free to set up an account with either of these companies. At present I cannot accept credit/debit card payments over the phone.

    Please make cheques payable to:
    C L Adams
    And send to:
    Daisy Belle,
    1 Tower Close,
    Brandon, Suffolk,
    IP27 0LJ

    9. Data Protection:
I will ask you to provide full contact details in order to process your goods. Please note that we do not use this information for any third parties and is only held on my files to comply with information needed in the day to day running of the company. Credit and Debit card transactions will be through PayPal secure server, your account details will not be held, written, or listed anywhere by me at Daisy Belle.

    10. Samples:
Due to the costs involved in obtaining my wholesale flowers i.e.: travelling/carriage costs and the cost of the stems of individual flowers etc, it is not practical for me to send out free samples. If you want a sample of any description this must be paid for and postage costs covered by the customer. You must also respect the above timings for placing an order. Under no circumstances does a sample request from a customer deem that the order must be taken on by myself if by requesting such sample before you have paid the £30 booking fee has resulted in the time elapsing over the two month notice required by myself for booking and has thus become a priority order (see above) and/or the quote has expired without any notification as to whether you wish to proceed. Samples of preserved flowers are at this time unavailable due to the bulk quantities I have to purchase at each order. I am happy to advise you as to the quality.
If you wish to provide me with a swatch of fabric from your wedding outfits in order for me to match flowers, and you would like the swatch back you must provide me with a stamped addressed envelope or a payment to cover the method of postage you would like me to use when returning the swatch to you.

    11. General:
I cannot be held liable for accidents or injuries gained as a result of misuse of one of my products.
Children should be monitored at all times by a responsible adult. The items sold by Daisy Belle in all cases are not suitable for very small children & babies. It is your responsibly to monitor them should you choose to allow them to use anything purchased from myself.

Please note that the term ‘silk’ is applied to artificial flower and foliage material and does not suggest genuine silk.

Preserved Flowers are real flowers which have been treated in order to preserve them for many years. For full instructions on caring for your preserved flowers please refer to the care card provided with your order. Correct care will ensure your preserved flowers last indefinitely. Preserved flowers should be stored out of direct sunlight and wet or humid atmospheres which can eventually reverse the osmosis process and cause colour to leach. Due to the dyes used to colour certain flowers any leaching of colour would not be harmful, however could stain. Pictures on the preserved flowers page are by kind permission of Verdi UK

Pictures and text on this website is the property of Claire Adams and the company (Daisy Belle) unless stated otherwise (see above) and further action will be taken if the content is replicated without prior consent by either myself or those companies whom have granted me permission to use their images.
